great article. i am having one issue though, i have follewd your steps and have managed to get my public folder database mounted. However when i go to the public folder managment console, i get the same errors you mentioned above when using “msExchPublicFolderTreeContainer” even though i have used “msExchContainer” for my folder hierarchies. any ideas?</description>

It&#039;s a little fuzzy because of how long ago I worked with this, but in re-reading the article, I believe that the Public Folder database was in fact present, just that it was not being referenced properly by AD and that&#039;s why it was missing from Exchange. If your PF database is not present, you might have a different issue (a missing database, instead of just a missing AD attribute). So you may want to re-examine how you arrived at this junction, and determine whether this article is actually relevant to your situation.</description>
